2024 Cotton Towel - Natural Crepe Myrtle Pairing
The 2024 Beyond Her dish towel collection is all natural. We've dyed the towels in-house, using either foraged native plants or powdered extracts from eco-conscious suppliers. It's a "meta" project, featuring one source plant as the key image, and its pods, seed and blossoms on a companion towel.
Crepe myrtles are abundant in great variety in Texas. Beyond Her had a row in Houston that bloomed white, but the amazing part was the bark, which pulled away to reveal a cinnamon covered trunk. The dye for these towels is made from the bark, a gorgeous chamois. All natural dyes show irregularities, and this is no exception.
The coordinating towel features flowers, pods and berries in coordinating colors, on a background dyed with a light pecan infusion.
This 100% cotton towel (loop included) is small batch printed with eco-friendly inks. Each towel is uniquely beautiful, part of a very limited edition that gets softer with each wash. They last for years!
Care & Feeding: The dyes we use are permanent and the products have been pre-washed. However, just because we're worrywarts, please wash separately the first time. After that, launder with everything else —we do.
