"Spaces Between" Exhibit
So proud to be included in an exhibit born of a partnership between the Surface Design Association and Florida Craft Art.
Exhibit Title: Spaces Between Dates: March 28 - May 17, 2025 Title: Borderline Humanity Media: Linen, screen printing, fabric collage, embroidery Borderline Humanity is a reflection on immigration, particularly between the US and its southern neighbors. The key image is a Latina, who signifies with her bird that she is peace-seeking, yet the stamps that cover her are slurs used against her. The construction, using piec ed fabriccs and embroidery, signifies the humble domestic arts practicedby women everywhere."It's Not a Picnic Without the Ants"
